Well here goes, inspired by our friends from Serenity, we’ve written a “blog”. Their blog is so up to the minute, it is as if written as the events occur... which must be quite tricky! “Ah, the boat’s sinking... I must find my computer”.  It’s an impressive and entertaining read, but not something we could hope to replicate here.
 
Hence, our blog is most certainly not ‘hot off the press’. Indeed, we must confess, many of the early blogs were written many, many moons after the events. So what are we trying to achieve here? Well, partly it is to chronicle the history and tell a few stories. But we also hope that, in amongst our mumblings, we may just stumble upon something of value that could be useful to anyone thinking of entering, or perhaps already in the boating/barging world. So, just what have we learnt...???
